Café Skansen - Oslo

From personal to food, perfection! we had dinner twice in caffe and would definetley recommend it to friends and family during the visit oslo. the photos speak for themselves. eating is really delicious and the personal is welcoming and ready to answer and to dress the best. Thank you. that's it.

The food is ok, good actually. But we waited 50 mins for the Main after starters. That was just rediculous. The waiter was nice enough to care but it's just too slow. And considering the waiting time, the food was just ok... They should have just offered some free drinks or deserts..that would have made it up. Dissapointed.

Really nice diner, great Norwegian food and very good funny service with the guy with the carrot. When it started to rain and we had to leave he offered us an umbrella.

My family and our friends had an amazing dining experience here for our second night in Oslo. The location is beautiful with a nice view by the fort and the service was very attentive and quick. The atmosphere was very relaxing and casual. The food was IMPECCABLE. The menu changes depending on the day or week, but I am sure all of the options are amazing no matter what. Everything was absolutely amazing. My wolffish was delicious; it was the first time I tried it and I was blown away. The scallops with goat cheese were a fan favorite. The catch of the day, salmon, was cooked to perfection. The risotto was divine. I cannot recommend this restaurant more!! Definitely expensive (especially to us American tourists) but so so so worth it for a taste of Norwegian cuisine!

A great spot for an outdoor meal during a warm, bright summer evening. A bit of a wait for a table, but worth it for the atmosphere. Good food. The lingonberry and blackcurrant tart was a huge highlight.
