Muzej Okusa - Osijek

Nice place: very cozy, good music... after we drank wine we have a small Slavonic snack on the house.

Amazing food and very friendly and welcoming waiters. Would definitely recommend.

Muzej okusa in Osijek is a restaurant that you do not want to miss. The room is decorated with taste, the staff is extremely hospitable. Prices are more than acceptable. All food delivery to order up to the moment it is served goes smoothly, without waiting or the least stress, you can remember, is really good food and exceptional staff. Well done!

I advise caution to English speakers/tourists who go here. I can see why this restaurant is appreciated by the local crowd, as the wine is diverse, and the food is good as well, albeit expensive. However as a tourist, I felt taken advantage of. They told us the English menu was ‘under construction’ so we couldn’t order anything off it. We couldn’t see the one in Croatian either, of course. Instead the waiter pushed us to order what turned out to be the most expensive items on the menu steak and duck (the quality of the duck dish was good though). Similar with the wine, he didn’t bring out a list to consult, but we had to blindingly go with what he suggested, which I didn’t appreciate as I like to go through a wine list and at the very least know what I’m drinking. Ended up feeling stripped of our choices and our money.
