Symposium Cafe Lounge - Oshawa

A nice place to have a brunch. I liked the renaissance themed atmosphere. I really liked their California Benedict eggs. But their waffle and chicken could be better.The service was not satisfactory at all. The greeter and waitress were not nice with us (she was literally throwing the plates on the table and her tone and behaviour was disrespectful). She was nicer with some other costumers though!Also the cutlery was not matching the vibe of the restaurant (e.g. cheep plastic water glasses).

The restaurant offers a superb dining experience with its impeccable food service and delightful ambiance. I had the pleasure of dining at Symposium yesterday evening, where the food was not only served promptly but good in terms of taste too. The level of service provided was truly outstanding and left a lasting positive impression. This experience was exceptional, and I am looking forward to returning in the future.

Never going back ahah.. Seriously consider changing spinach dip, over powering amount of wet, frozen spinach. Perogies lacked flavour, chicken club was extremely dry and the server seemed to lack knowledge of menu items and personality skills. 0/10 would recommend this location.

I've been here a few times and it's incredibly hit or miss. The last time I was here was bad enough that I'm updating my review.The waitress was terrible. She brought my colleague a dish he was severely allergic to, even after he specified his dietary needs very clearly when ordering.None of us had any drink refills, and she was incredibly slow at clearing the dishes. She also never brought us the bills, after waiting over 40min with dirty plates and empty cups in front of us, we went to the front and asked to be cashed out.It's not like it was busy either: we were one out of the two tables with patrons at it.The food was alright but overpriced and not good enough to make up for the terrible service.
