Phithy Philly's - Oshawa

Finally you can get a good Philly steak in Oshawa/Whitby! I grew up in the Niagara region where they have fantastic Philly steaks, called ‘Steak Subs’ in the area. Haven’t been able to find anything close to those great steak subs for years, but now Philthy Philly’s is here! Philthy’s seems to understand what makes a good Philly steak. You go in, put in your order, they immediately ask you what cheese you want, what items you want fried (for me, onions, hot peppers, mushrooms), additional toppings and they offer the true 12” sub sandwich size, which practically no one does these days. Cooked exactly the way you want it, Philthy’s makes a great Philly steak! While their Philly steak may not be as good as what I grew up with in the Niagara region, it is by far the best Philly steak in Durham.

Boyfriend and I got a burger and a Philly cheese steak to try both. I would give the burger a solid 8. Cheese steak was good as well, perhaps a 6 or 7. Fries come in a portion that will feed 3!!

After a doctor's appointment in Hamilton during a heavy snowstorm, we decided to stop for a bite to eat. Upon a friend's recommendation, we tried out this restaurant. When we arrived, there were already four patrons and five more came in after us. The service was fast, the food was delicious, and I would definitely recommend it. You won't be disappointed if you give it a try.

I dine at this restaurant at least five times a month. There is a wide variety of options to choose from, and the food is always freshly prepared to order, which makes it incredibly tasty. One of the best features is that they can convert any sandwich into a salad, making it a great choice for those following a low carb diet.

After visiting the location on Victoria Park in Scarborough (close to where I work) I decided to give this location a go as it’s closer to home. This time I brought along my 15 year old son. The sandwiches are great, fresh and very tasty. Messy but that’s to be expected for a philly. We also shared an order of fries, which were also very good. The staff was very friendly too. Not much to look at in terms of ambiance, but the food was good.
