Fazio's Restaurant & Wine Experience

It's been 5 years since my last review of Fazio's, so here goes!__If you would like to take your significant other out for an evening of relaxed fine dining

I have visited FAZIO'S many times over the past 35 years and have great memories of the best wine and food in the area. If you are fortunate enough to find TINO there he always make you feel welcome and at home. Great food and amazing atmosphere makes FAZIO'S the perfect place to dine!!!

Fazios is such a great restaurant. Growing up we used to go here for birthday dinners. It was always something we looked forward to. Now I don't get there as often as I would like but when ai do it is amazing. I had the best white wine I have ever had there. I understand there is a fabulous wine cellar as well.Will be going again soon.

As we walked through the doors we knew it was going to be a great evening. The staff were welcoming and there was a pleasant Italian atmosphere with family pictures on the walls. This is an Italian family restaurant ran by the family as it has been since opening in 1979. The menu choice was is excellent with plenty of Italian dishes reflecting the owners birth place, san Angelo di Brolo in Sicily.Great choice of wines but no Italian beer (apparently they can't get hold of it). A good starter is Bruschetta but be aware there is plenty for two to share. The bread is freshly made every day by the owner and is just amazing, its a pity they do not sell to the public. If you love Italian food this is the place in Oshawa, do check out the menu on Fazio's website.It all made a wonderful, special occasion evening for four adults and two children, although fairly expensive but then we were tempted by two bottles of their excellent wine.
