Cosy's Diner - Oshawa

Not one to usually complain, but I ordered delivery through Skipthedishes both my hot roast beef dinners came unbelievably salted to the point it can't even be eaten. Definitely would have sent it back if dining in. The burger however was good.

Has a really nice vintage Elvis-Presley era typa vibe. The Fish and Chips special on Thrsdays and Fridays is also quite decent, as well as affordable. It's the one thing that always keeps me coming back:)Dietary restrictions: Prepares the Fish and Chips in a halal manner and not with Beer Batter as so many other places do.

This was our first time trying out Cody's Dinner in Oshawa. The atmosphere was pictures, records and many other items from the 60's give or take. The staff was very friendly and helpful, lots of items to choose from. It's like an old fashioned mom and pop restaurant. They have a kids and seniors menu section. They have something for everyone even non-meat choices. The plaza has lots of parking spots. The place is well kept and clean, even the washrooms. Please see the pictures.

Ordered this on door dash. Halibut fish and chips. So disappointing. That was not halibut. Tasted fishy and peculiar. Fries were frozen. $20+ piece of fish right in the garbage. Was only refunded $10 credits from door dash. Boo earns.

The food is delicious and the service is amazing, definitely would come back. I would recommend this place for sure!?
