Cook Chinese and Thai - Oshawa

A hidden gem tucked away in a dying plaza...great Chinese food at very affordable prices,,,example is rice ,chicken balls(about 10) and a beverage for under 6 bucks and your lucky if you can finish it...mainly take out but there is a few small tables to eat in,,,,bare bones but great Chinese food...highly recommended

We decided to try takeout from this restaurant after hearing great things about it being one of the best in town. Although the food was prepared quickly and the staff was friendly, we were disappointed with the quality. The 'Shrimp and Pork' Pad Thai was mostly dry and tasteless neon orange noodles with 4 shrimp and some tough, thinly sliced beef. The Hot and Sour soup was bland without any visual appeal. The Pork Fried Rice, while colorful, lacked flavor. The Sweet and Sour chicken was greasy torpedo-shaped chicken pieces instead of balls, but the sauce was good. I didn't try the General Tso's chicken, but my partner said it was just average. Despite our hopes, we won't be returning to this restaurant.

This small Chinese takeout restaurant is run by a young couple. There is limited seating available, but you can sit next to the kitchen and watch the chef prepare your food.

The Chinese food at this restaurant is excellent! The portions are generous and the owners are very kind and welcoming. We will definitely be returning.
