A&W Restaurant - Oshawa

Our grandson celebrated his 13th birthday and requested A&W for his meal. We placed a large order for 9 people with special requests and were impressed by how efficiently the food was ready. With vegans in our group, it can be difficult to please everyone, but we were pleased to hear appreciative sounds as everyone enjoyed their meal. We dined outside on a warm day, social distanced of course, late in the season. We also appreciated the use of compostable and recyclable wrappings. Overall, a great experience!

I have been regularly ordering beyond meat burgers from A&W since they were introduced, as I am a vegetarian. Unfortunately, I recently received a beef hamburger in a beyond meat bag. I didn't realize the mistake until I had already eaten most of it, as I was very hungry. As someone who works in the food industry, I find it baffling how such a mix-up could occur. It is crucial to double check orders, especially with the increasing number of people with dietary restrictions. I hope A&W improves their attention to detail for the sake of their customers.

The burgers at this A&W were cold and sloppily put together. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future. It seems like they lack the knowledge on how to properly make a good burger. Despite the high price I paid for the meal, the quality was not worth it as the burgers arrived cold.

I don’t eat fast food much, so when I do I want it to be worth it. I ordered the beyond meat burger (recommended by someone) and onion rings. The burger was so good and I usually hate veggie burgers. The onion rings were a bit soggy, but still good. I ordered through the app and it was ready as soon as I got to the window. The service was really good too.

This has the absolute best customer service ever, I was ordering a burger, and an employer cam and said, Hey, are you thirsty? and gave me a free ice tea.
