Vis A Vis, Cucina&eventi - ORVIETO

Menus that are prepared using the historical recipes of the area are very very interesting. All the ingredients and local products that they used were excellent! I was able to eat an entire menu without gluten. Service was friendly but also professional with sofisticate knowledge on the recipes

We stayed in the outskirts of Orvieto and were recommended this restaurant by the owner of the accommodation we were staying at. I asked him if he knew of any place that catered for vegan and gluten free and he booked us in to this local gem. I found it quite difficult in Italy with my diet so this place was such a refreshing change. There was nothing on the menu that I couldn’t have and every single dish that we tried was out of this world! The lady who served us was superb and couldn’t do enough for us. She informed us which wines were vegan and took the time to explain what each dish was in English. The food was the best I had in Italy, so much so that I would go back to Orvieto just to come to this restaurant.

Best restaurant experience on our vacation so far! Super delicious, definitely a must in Orvieto! Prices are good, at a calm square, super kind waitress that takes the time to answer all questions and explain the dishes.

A delightful place in a quieter part of Orvieto. A rare vegetarian gem found in the region which is otherwise known for its meat-heavy cuisine. Vis-a-vis will surprise you with quality and creativeness of its vegetarian dishes made of locally harvested fresh and flavorful ingredients. Everything I tried off the Summer 2022 menu was superb. Highly recommended and not just for vegetarians.
