Agriturismo Montenachiro - Ortelle

Visit this place to enjoy honest italian food! Every time when i am in Italy i eat here, every time i like the food and the people.

At first we were a bit nonplussed at being asked to wait outside the restaurant! However once the food arrived we had a very good evening, enlivened by a group of locals having a birthday party meal.

We found it just in case on the street to Castro. Unfortunately they don 't accept credit card but you can taste really good food a standard menù 18€! Starters, main course and meat dishes, included fruit and coffee and liquors and desserts.

If you want to find the authentic Salento cuisine when you are on holiday you have to go to the agriturismo Montenachiro di Vignacastrisi . The chef is very skillful and after collaborating with illustrious colleagues in northern Italy decided to go home in the South to make the culinary culture of the local peasant tradition discover and reproduce successfully, ancient decades.

Recommended by the hotel where I stayed, I found the very nice and safe place true with its merits and defects. Friendly and helpful staff, super abundant portions, quantity of very good products. Very good price, recommended at 100
