Gourmet Kitchen - Ormond Beach

We've been going to Gourmet Kitchen since it was on beachside near Publix. The servers are so friendly and welcoming and always check back to see if we need anything. The food is always fresh and delicious and AFFORDABLE. Today I had a newer item loaded quiche! It was yummy and filled with fresh veggies and breakfast meats. So good! Needless to say, we will be back again and again!

Nice environment, friendly staff. Breakfast was good, they just forget my bread. Philly cheese steak was ok.

I had the numer 9 with a side of grits. It was very good. Everything was nice, hot and fresh. My husband had one of the eggs benedict which he said was really good too. They also had a lunch menu that sounds very tasty. My next review will be on their lunch menu. So we are definitely going back.

The food was good and Linda, our server was excellent. I was not happy that I had to pay a 4% charge if I wanted to use a credit card. Its costly enough that we have to pay a 6.5% sales tax. No other restaurant I visit charges me this extra fee. I shouldn't have to pay the credit card fee the restaurant is responsible for. Sorry, but I will not be returning.

The food was okay. It didn't help that the chef quit and walked out the door. And it doesn't help that you wait 3 hours for a breakfast meal that you only take 5 to 10 minutes to cook. Too much drama too much chaos happening in this location.
