Bidra med feedbackI have been living in the Daytona Beach area for nearly a year now, and in my travels I've seen this restaurant numerous times and had it on my list to visit. Well yesterday was the day I finally stepped in for lunch and it was one of my better decisions. Even before walking in, the aroma of serious cooking was smelling good. And as I entered, I was warmly greeted by the staff, including the cooks, and told to pick a seat. The restaurant has a semi-open kitchen, where you can see the chef and line cooks doing their thing. Very inviting. My server was very cordial and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Which had some intriguing comfort food options. After several inquiries, I chose the Cuban Sunrise Sandwich. It's a traditional Cuban with 2 added fried eggs, pressed to perfection and a side of hand cut fries. When my order arrived, I was extremely impressed with the portions and my taste buds were doing a happy dance as I took the first, second and third bites. Quality through and through. Fraze's undoubtedly takes scratch cooking to heart and it will get another visit from me in the very near future. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't have any regrets.
Met Andy and his wife Saturday lovely people loved the atmosphere inside and out my boyfriend and I shared the finger licken ribs tender as could be sticky BBQ sauce sweet and so tasty. Patty melt ordered Med Rare came out perfect temp and yummy 1/2 lb fresh hand pressed burgers hard to find done right. 3 thumbs up Andy I own my own place and never write reviews but felt yours definitely deserved one.
Had lunch there today it was good. We had the Spaghetti and Meatballs and the Cuban Sandwich. Both were good
10 out of 5 stars! If you leave here hungry it's your own fault, ribs on the weekend fall off the bone and are juicy and packed with flavor! Clean restaurant with great smiling faces! PS the have the best soda made with real cane sugar!
My friends and I love these sandwiches and often get them to go but I finally decided to eat there and I'm so glad I did! There's a nice outdoor seating area with lots of picnic benches and greenery, a great place to have a beer and relax. Everyone who works here is super friendly and proud of the menu--one of the owners even gave me a sample of their ribs (Saturday special) and Carolina style vinegar-based pork BBQ while I was waiting for my meal and now I know I've gotta go back to try more! Good vibes, great food, and it's near a bunch of cute vintage stores so you can make a nice afternoon of supporting local businesses all on the same block!
