Fancy Sushi - Ormond Beach

Disgusting. Extremely disappointed. Went into the restaurant after a few years and it was empty, dirty, and quiet. The staff were in flip-flops, the tables were dirty. I felt like we had to order something. So I got rice and a sushi roll. The sushi roll was, I’m not kidding, made with canned tuna. This place should be closed down.Food: 1/5

The sushi was really gross and old tasting. I get sushi once a week so I know what fresh sushi taste like. The wasabi was old and the avocado was rotten inside the sushi. Also, the soup was the absolute worst soup I’ve ever had tasted like dish soap almost. Don’t waste your money!Food: 1/5

My friend and I went in for lunch yesterday to a completely empty restaurant. We had our drink order taken and 8 minutes later, still without drinks, a man came in and the same server took his order immediately. After he ordered, the man came to our table and sat down next to my friend. He was unwell and smelled of alcohol and put his hand on her shoulder. Too intoxicated to make any sense and rambling at us. Finally, our server came over and had the nerve to ask if we were ready to place our food order. I let the server know that NO we are leaving and took our business elsewhere. Protect your customers! The male sushi chef stood and did nothing to help us. Will never return.

I have gone multiple times and always had good service and tasty food. However this time was different (in an empty restaurant it seemed like me and my date were a bother! Our waitress after taking our order and bringing our food paid us no attention (refills/is everything good? none of that and sat on her phone until we got her attention for our check. Disappointed in the food aswell lukewarm clear soup and $20 room temperature sushi was mediocre AT BEST.

Ormond location: Went there for lunch and received a lunch portion of food for $20 which was supposed to be dinner sized. The server told me they double the shrimp which is 10 pieces and give extra veggies. I will tell you that the size stayed the same and they just doubled the shrimp for double the price. I eat at the palm coast location and it’s like night and day. The white sauce is better and my lunch portion there is as much as the dinner portion that I just paid 20$ for. Not happy at all!! Won’t be back. Palmcoast location is fire, go there instead.
