River Pizza has been serving Cumberland and Orleans for years . Both locations are attached to Mr Gas Locations and serve the public well. George makes all pizzas with premium ingredients and a lot of love. Pizza Menu contains 12 or so varied pies and can have one,two,three toppings or the groupings that go with my favourite..GEORGE'S SPECIAL Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Green Peppers,Tomatoes, and Ground Beef. . Another of my favourites is GREEK PIZZA Feta Cheese Green Peppers, Onions, Tomatoes and Black Olives .Yum/Yum. Canadian Food includes Varied Burgers, Club Sandwiches, Fish Sticks, Fish Chips as well as Hot Hamburg Steak and Finger Food Platters ., Chicken Wings. If Submarines are your thing...10 combinations await you.Various DONAIR offerings are available as iare Appetizers such as French Fries/Poutine/ Onion Rings/Zucchini with Garlic Dip/Garlic Cheese Strips/Garlic Bread. This is a take out place, the service is great,fast and take out delivery is speedy, their pizzas are delicious. The crust is tastier than other restaurants. Mind you we only tried their pizza not sure for the rest.

This restaurant has the best pizza in town, or at least in Orleans. The owners use the freshest ingredients and they do not cut corners on anything.

As an accomplished and international Tripadvisor writer, I don 't write many bad reviews, but I am making an exception this time. River Pizza advertises beef donairs. They advertise freshness. Based on their advertisements I decided to order two donairs from them. Upon walking into River Pizza, I noticed a lack of meat rotisseries in the very small establishment. Nonetheless, I ordered two donairs. Since there were no fresh rotisseries that I could see from the customer area, I asked where their meat comes from. Quickly, politely and with pride, a frozen box from somewhere was shown to me. The frozen box was labelled frozen gyro meat. Some might do research and say that a gyro, donair and shawarma are the same meat. They are not. The meat is made differently and served differently. The Middle East community will support that. So my fresh donair meat was thawed and re-heated in an oven. The resulting product was nothing more than any frozen donair package I could have purchased for $5.00 in some frozen sections of a discount grocery store. In summary of my River Pizza donair experience, the final product was not to the standard of their competition and I will not be ordering another donair there in the future. Although this is a donair review, I will give credit where credit is due. I have had River Pizza in the past and it was a fairly good product at a good price. River Pizza, please stick to pizza and leave the donairs to the experts in that food category.

We stopped in on a whim for the first time to River Pizza last night and we're so glad we did! We tried the beef donair platters, and they were excellent. Rolled up in a soft, fresh pita bread, the meat was tasty and plentiful (and not overcooked, I dislike it when it's very well done and the veggie toppings were very fresh. Quality cheese. Great garlic sauce (the menu said you could also get a sweet sauce . Appreciate the salad being included because of course he had my fries and I stole his salad : We will definitely come back to try the pizza because it smelled insanely good while we were waiting there : Very nice service, as well! The place was clean. It has a small seating area if you'd like to dine in (two tables for two . Good drink selection. Thank you!
