Bidra med feedbackI found this place on accident wanting some oysters and just did a Google search. Oh my gosh, why an amazing hidden gem! The food and atmosphere were absolutely spectacular. This is not your typical place that you would find in Orlando amongst all the chain type restaurants. I highly recommend it to everyone. Huge selection of craft beverages, many different oysters, and so many different flavors and selections. The staff and owner were absolutely amazing!
We've heard great things and figured National Oyster day would be the perfect time to try them out. We ordered many different plates. Every plate was perfect for everyone to try a little of everything. The 5 of us had 3 dozen James River oysters $1.25 per oyster for happy hour) a raw oyster sampler, smoked Tuna dip, Russian dumplings, garlic octopus, jambalaya, lamb tacos, a seafood broil and added crab legs. For drinks we had Moscow mules, beer flights and oyster shooters. Everything was gone , not a single complaint. Everything was so fresh. The place has a very chill vibe, it's small but comfortable and Wendy was great she took care of all tables and the bar by herself and didn't miss a beat. We will be in again soon. That baked bri sparked my interest but we were to full this time.
My wife and I stopped in just after 4pm for happy hour a week ago, looking to enjoy a couple dozen oysters at great prices. We sat down at the bar and asked what beers were part of the happy hour. We were told all the draft beers were part of it and were very happy about that. We saw the menu listed oysters at $1.25 as part of the happy hour. However, we were not informed that is just for the house oysters. All the oysters listed on the wall behind the bar are not included in the happy hour, and the house oyster is not displayed on the signs behind the bar either. We thought the two dozen oysters we proceeded to order were part of the happy hour and were shocked when our bill came out to be more than double what we expected. One would think that when the first question we asked was regarding happy hour, that’s what we were there for. The oysters were excellent and we would love to come back, but some transparency from the staff about happy hour prices would have been nice. That experience left a sour taste in our mouths (not from the delicious oysters though).
Love this quiet little place! The hostess is great and the cook on the back is so very friendly! They put a lot of pride in the small selection of seafood dishes that they serve, and your drinks.I went there two weeks ago. I was starving! I ordered and ate nearly everything on the menu. The Japanese style oysters are superb! The goat cheese salad was wickedly delicious. And had maybe 6 orders and they were all great. They actually had a bet between them that I would not eat most of the food... I proved them wrong!!!I will make this a regular spot too. It's local and small, quiet (I was there on a Tuesday@6:30/7pm), friendly, and reasonably priced!
Went there for happy hour. Hesitantly ordered the oyster special. Was hesitant since they were from Virginia. Wow were they incredible. The best oysters we have had in the states for years. Also got oysters Rockefeller. Equally incredible! Thought prices were reasonable, especially for happy hour $2 off wine and special was $1.25 per oyster). The menu looks incredible, with many tasty sounding dishes. We look forward to returning!
