Urban Tide - Orlando

Beautiful ambiente, waiter was great and hospitable, but the restaurant was extremely understated and we felt it. eating took a normal time to get out, but it was always delayed. the drinks took about 20 minutes to reach us. the appetizers made it first and were ordered afterwards. the first waiter disappeared simply and after a long wait someone else took our order (the second was nice). everything in all was ok, but for the price the service was simply bad and felt very good. I wouldn't mind if I had paid for a main course at chilli $13.00. supplements to the kitchen, eating was great. remember that the restaurant was not full.

Excellent tapas appetizers and entrees. The waitress accidentally broke a glass at our table. It was handled professionally and with courtesy. So really good food and while a mistake was made, they compd us some wonderful appetizers and were very gracious. I would go again

Second time to dine at Urban Tide. Food is always surprisingly good, hence the 5 stars for that. This time the service was the weak link, hence the 2 stars for service. Very very slow, and generally inattentive. For example empty appetizer dishes stayed on table for roughly 45 minutes while waiting for entrees. At least 30-40 minutes from getting seated before our wine showed up. Total meal took about 3 hours... which is a good thing if paced right. But this 3 hours was more due to inattention and big time gaps vs a purposeful and leisurely pace. Overall we’d give it another chance based mainly on the food.

GREAT food, awesome service, and a wonderful dining experience... highly recommended
