I love her little tattoo and she made my drinks. She made a little heart on my friends espresso martini truly amazing service will dine again I love this place and I love her. take care.
Went for Brunch on a Friday. Empty and the food was absolutely terrible+
My husband and I had dinner here for the first time this evening and we had a wonderful experience. Our server Jonathan was great, he was friendly and attentive and able to offer suggestions. The food was really special. Flavors were familiar yet elevated. The vibe is chill and modern with sleek decor and comfortable booths (there are also some high tops and seats at the bar). The tvs behind the bar were a selling point for us because we wanted to watch the playoffs. I could see coming for drinks and apps, just drinks, or a whole meal like we did. We will definitely happily return.Parking: It’s downtown so what can you do? We found a $10 garage pretty close by. There are plenty in the area with tons of spots before 8 or 9pm on weekends but then they fill up quickly. There may have been other parking options I hadn’t discovered.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is not kid friendly, it’s an adult space with an adult vibe. I’d be surprised and uncomfortable to see children there.
As soon as you enter between the music the atmosphere, the energy is phenomenal!Although, I highly recommend arranging reservations prior to visiting… Seating at the bar is available for those unreserved.The music was everything!!! Shoutout to the DJ! A whole vibe.The sushi sake was delicious even though there wasn’t a wide variety of sake flavors.Food was served fresh in a timely manner!HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE “Your Highness” roll.
Idk where to even begin trying to put this experience into words. If you’re ever in Orlando this place is a MUST! Mik I stopped by for tapas and a drink on Mon and we’re just so blown away. We ended up changing Tues dinner to go back to explore the menu a bit deeper. 2018 unfiltered Napa Cabernet, 30oz Tomahawk with chimi flake salt on the side. Housemade Umami Butter melted tableside. The best damn brussels I’ve ever had in my life and lightly truffled perfect fries.Alina was a gem of a bartender Mark Anthony our server made for a charming evening. The music was right up our alley and the greenery was next level…and most plants were available for purchase.What really threw me was the Sous Chef. A 23yr old gal fresh out of culinary school. Chef Courtney’s youthful mind and dedication was so inspirational to see. We had to shake her and the exec Chefs hands, who graciously shared a shot of Basil Hayden Toast with us at his table. The food, ambience, and love for the craft was some of the best I’ve ever experienced and I will forever be inspired grateful for such a magical couple of nights at Thrive Cocktail Lounge Eatery.
