Panera Bread - Orlando

Been going to Panera for a long time, always happy with the food. This time I did try thier new chicken sandwich and it was good but I typically don't go to panera for that type of meal. But overall always happy with Panera Bread.

Not very happy with our visit. French onion soup came out cold, they waited to call our name after we saw what turned out to be our food sitting in the window for a while. The lady who was right by the food was rude and not very customer friendly at all. The sandwich had not very much meat and the bread was toasted too long and kinda burnt. All in all was not a good experience. We ordered a pastry twist and never received that item and didn't remember until we were gone because it was in a different part of the restaurant then where the sandwiches came out of. We like panera typically but this time left much to be desired ?

No hot water for tea in the hot water tank. Coffee also cold. They put the water in the microwave, but it's not hot yet. And they rushed me during the order, although there was no line.

This restaurant is very clean! And the food tastes good! But they only take cards (no cash), which means that you use the kiosk to order. And the kiosks are hard to use and they need you to map that took me about 12 attempts on average (of 2 visits). The door that was broken last Sunday is still broken, which is a bad look. I had to wait about 10 minutes on a $5 parfait that seems small for $5. It is my first time to order this product. It tastes good. The overall experience is below average. Update one year later 11/21. Last year they have 2 stars. One year later, one star. Today I ordered tomato soup and tried to order a rosin cookie. They were not oatmeal cookies. Don't we have one today? I ordered the soup and paid for it. When I went to the counter to get my soup, they told me they had no tomato soup today (what did I say when I ordered it). So I changed to Thai soup. They didn't. What is the deal?

Perfect lunch stop for a quick lunch nice, fast, well prepared lunch I would expect. a well-guided Panera
