Mikado Sushi - Orlando

The dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. Despite seeing negative reviews about the service, I did not encounter any issues. We mostly ordered sushi from the bar, with just one appetizer, and our eight-course meal was served promptly and I appreciated that it was not rushed. I preferred having the dishes come out one by one, rather than all at once like in other restaurants. We dined on a Saturday evening with a reservation at 6pm, arriving at 5:30pm, and we were seated quickly. I recommend making reservations during busy times. The quality and variety of fish were top-notch and truly authentic. One may not notice, but the standout feature of this place is the perfectly seasoned sushi rice, which is crucial in sushi preparation. The presentation and ingredient selection may not be traditional for those seeking an authentic Japanese experience, in which case I would suggest Hanamizuki on International Drive. We chose this restaurant for a more modern and chic take on sushi, and they delivered. We will definitely be returning.

This sushi restaurant is amazing! It was our second time visiting, and we decided to have dinner here. We had other places in mind, but somehow ended up here and were pleasantly surprised. This is the place to go if you love sushi and sashimi, or even the Mikado boat! All the seafood is fresh and delicious. They offer a wide variety of sushi styles, so you can try many different options. Unlike other sushi places that only offer cheap California rolls, they also have high-quality rolls available. And all this at a very reasonable price. We left very satisfied!
