My Piece Of Cake - Orihuela

A lovely place to have breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. The staff are lovely and so helpful. Food fresh and tasty. Will be back in July and October again. Great food

We first visited the above in October last year when we were on our honeymoon was delighted with how fresh tasty the food was they served. We now live here its one of our favourite lunchtime venues, we visit at least once a week, most weeks more. They bake on the premises, lots of delicious cakes pies, also the ham they serve is to die for, I should know my usual lunch time meal is a small beer while I wait, a mature cheddar ham ploughman's with a glass of red wine. At the beginning we used to share a portion of chips between us but due to the size of the meals found we were leaving them, did I mention the lovely crusty bread served. They have a menu which I would think would cover most peoples tastes.

We came across this lovely little place whilst wandering around La Fuente deciding where to stop for breakfast. This place caught our eye as it looked cheerful and clean. We were not disappointed, the breakfast choice was good as was the service which was given by Denise the owner who obviously takes pride in her place and enjoys what she does. The food was very nice, I wish that I had left room for one of the many cakes that they have...the cup cakes looked so pretty on display inside. We will be returning.

One of my favourite cafés in the area. Clean friendly with a great menu. Everything is freshly made. The sandwiches are delicious especially the ones on white tiger bread. The cakes, cupcakes and scones are just delicious. Well worth a visit.
