On a positive note, this restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, particularly on good weather days, with seating and tables overlooking the seafront. It stands out as one of the few genuine beachfront restaurants in the area. The food, while not exceptional, had a satisfactory taste, although it was a bit salty for my liking, possibly due to the use of salted butter and additional salt. The bread, unfortunately, was slightly over toasted. Despite these minor issues, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, and the staff members were friendly and accommodating. Normally buzzing, this place has the best view in Orewa when dining. And the food is top notch...and there is craft beer. Its a family favourite with us...and many other families! Had a great group lunch here. Plenty to order from and great service. It wasn't super busy but I still found the noise overwhelming. Gluten free options avaliable including GF burger buns. We had a variety of dishes. The raw fish and chips was stellar! I thought the pizza was a bit pricey but the rest was on par for what is expect to spend.
