L'Auberge des Domes - Orcines

After a day when we walked the volcano around puy du dome, we almost randomly stumbled over the auberge of the domes and were looking for something nice to eat. the place itself is charming and rustic and eating was absolutely delicious. we had the famous truffade, that. bark meat with blue cheese sauce and the teller of regional meat and cheese and it was all excellent. the last bill was less than 120 € for 4x net, 4x desserts plus drinks, wine and coffee. would recommend this beautiful little jewel.

This restaurant has a limited menu, but offers good dining and pleasant service. good local wee too. there are tables outside and the indoor dining room is quite small. excellent cheeseboard.

Amazing traditional and local French cuisine in a welcoming and cozy place. I recommend the 24-euro menu (first course main dessert included) or the famous truffade (from kartoffels, local cheese, garlic and salt, served with green salad). red wine will go well with the...truffade or meat (better white with fish). Do not forget to order a kir au birlou as aperitif, and their meal will be perfect!

Avant d'accéder au Puy de Dôme petit repas dans un lieu assez agréable. Le plat était consistant ( trufade) mais le dessert était assez quelquonque. Service rapide.

Un très bon Resto sur la route des puys , l'accueil est chaleureux , très souriant .La cuisine fait la part belle aux produits auvergnats : truffade , bleu , saint nectaire .....Le cadre est douillet .Vous passerez un excellent moment .
