Local Life - ORANGE BEACH

Fun little breakfast/lunch joint in North Beach. Local , the owner, served us with great hospitality. We had a Half order of French toast w/ fruit one egg and sausage along with Eggs Benedict on Foccacia (she was out of English muffins). Both were delicious and just the right amount of food. I would definitely eat here again.

When we walked in the place was empty at 6:00pm on a Friday night. That should've been our first clue to leave. We stuck it out and walked up to the register where the owners were both leaning on the bar on their phones and didn't look up to welcome us or come over to the register to order. I asked them if they were open and the man proceeded to look at me annoyed and let me know that they were open and he could take my order. The menu looked delicious. We all ordered (party of about 8). It took about an hour for our food to come out and it was HORRIBLE. I mean like $20 for a burger that looked like it had been taken out of the freezer, warmed up the microwave and a kraft single slapped on the top. Fried fish that was for sure kid's meal fried fish sticks you get in the freezer section at walmart...offbrand. It was just horrible. You'll make memories here! Just not ones you'll remember for good food or service...

Friendly staff, outstanding food, and amazing drinks with a wonderful view! They always have fun events or bands going on throughout the week! We love the relaxed atmosphere it provides! Perfect for date night or family night! Give em a try!

Decided to give local life another try and once again I've been disappointed. I might've got the simplest thing to make on the menu, cheese fries. Takes over 45 minutes to make. Not only did my food take this long but also my friends, not to forget the food is below mediocre. This place is an absolute s show after the 3 times I've came here. The funny thing is there's only 2 other people in here, what an absolute joke. Can't wait to see this place go.

They have THE BEST Bushwhacker on the island! Such a fun and laid back atmosphere, especially if you are on the more mature side of things and want to be able to hear the person next to you talking when you go out. Definitely my favorite bar at the Wharf
