Bidra med feedbackWe came off the crowded autoroute after too many August holiday delays ; from the South of France to Switzerland. Orange as a town is well worth a stop over, roman sites, interesting and individual shops, and good parking near the centre. We then took the route nationale up to Valence, rather than joining the autoroute again (at the recommendation of the owner, good advice , this is a lovely drive, mostly straight and good roads, passing a few small towns, with beautiful scenery, bien sûr . lavender fields, mountain pass, roman Le Palace was a great find, just 200 metres from the busy centre. We had lunch, a very fair priced formule, entrée, plat et dessert (with 2 choices plus a small but tasty looking à la carte, with a glass of local red. Had a delicious césar salad and maigret de canard, plus lovely vegetables, frites etc. It has a terrace covered from the midday sun, very pleasant. The owner has recently taken over, and can highly recommend a visit if you are passing by.
Went to eat at 3, fast service, friendly, hearty, very fair prices. pleasant setting
A good place to eat in orange. not especially cheap, but if it is true that so close to the theater there is no place. good food and very friendly staff. the owner was born in valence and he tried to make him understand to explain all the dishes and give us some conversation. Besides, it's like a goat, so if you go out for a walk at night, it's not gonna be weird if you find him giving everything to you.
No inconvenience. basic and very medium kitchen. foie gras is however good. decorate the old man. at the same time finding a restaurant that would welcome you to annonay sometimes returns to the exploit
Sommes went to eat at 3, fast service, friendly, copier, very correct price. pleasant environment
