The Drover - Omaha

Came here specifically to taste the whisky marinated steak; and although the main rib did not my personal favorite cut this order was a fantastic piece meat. the season that the marinade matched was at the top. I had the asparagus salad bar and enjoyed a nice yeast with the meal. the ambiente is really cool, and the staff was very relaxed and friendly.

This is my favorite old school omaha steak house, and the location that I bring everyone from the city guests. whatever steak they prefer, they pick up the whisky marinade. it is what they are known for, and it is delicious. service was always great, and that I always eat delicious and cooked as desired. If you have, you never owe it to yourself.

I've not been here for a couple of years. I'm pleased to find nothing has changed since my last visit. Classic old school steak house which are becoming a rare breed these days. Which is sad really. Steaks were fantastic as usual. If you're looking for a great steak, you can't go wrong with the Drover!

This was my second time heading to the Drover. The first time was amazing but this was before the pandemic. Like before, I ordered the whiskey marinated ribeye With perfect grill marks. It was very tasty however there were some parts where the texture tasted a bit off. Maybe it was just an off day. The service was nice how ever they weren’t super attentive and we were waiting for a check for a while. It wouldn’t have been such an issue had we not had somewhere else to be right after. I would still go back.

9/9 Went to the Drover last night for a anniversary. The food and food was great. The chairs were hard to sit in and by the food came out my body was aching terrible. Finally asked for another type chair and they gave me a softer chair and we finished our meal. The lighting was so low I couldn’t read the menu.
