China Express - Omaha

A true unassuming gem in Omaha. We used to live in south O and would frequent at the food court, since they 've been under new ownership for the past few years it 's even better. Even their steak (which you would normally not order in a 'food court ' is excellent, truly. Also their fries are the best fries I 've ever had. I 'm a big fan or a gyro salad, which is my usual here, huge portions with lots of meat and all so fresh. If you want to support a local restaurant owned by people that truly work hard to create amazing food, support this place; you won 't be disappointed.

My family was on the way into Omaha from shopping at Nebraska Crossing and decided to get food. I see. This food court was close. My family loves gyros. I honestly thought about choosing a different place but thought why not. Best decision ever. The food was so delicious. I had the Gyros salad combo and the rest of my family had Gyros Sandwich combos. The fries were amazing. The gyros were top notch. I love that there are other selections as well. The employees were very friendly as well. Next time I’m in town my family will definitely be eating here again.

Outstanding, always delicious food with large portions and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended. Always go there to eat with my friends. They got Kebabs, Gyros, Chinese Food, pizzas and etc. Check out some pictures of my favorite foods there :

The lamb platter earned a solid 4.25 stars, while the beef gyro was rated at 4 stars. There was one platter that really impressed me, which I would rate at 4.5 stars, but unfortunately, I can’t recall its name and I couldn’t identify it from the menu—it was a mixture of lamb and beef. As for the grape leaves, I’d give them 3 stars. However, the desserts were outstanding, earning a perfect 5 stars. The baklava was particularly noteworthy, not overly sweet as often found in other places. I also enjoyed the coconut dessert, which was quite delicious. There is parking available in a small private lot.
