Bidra med feedbackSince my family are food enthusiasts and were craving for Thai lunch pronto, we decided to lunch at Jatujak Thai Resto since they have dined here in the past and I was told that it wouldn't disappoint. True enough, upon entering we were warmly greeted and sat to a table good for six people. We started with our Thai beer and appetizers such as Thai spring rolls, crabmeat pancakes and chicken satay on a skewer. It was delicious and really stimulated our appetites. We then proceeded with a large bowl of shrimp tom yum soup (yes, big bowl) it was served on a warmer, I thought it was a plus since the soup didn't turn cold. For our entree, since it was a family style lunch, we had Thai fried rice with shrimp paste, beef with basil leaves, deep fried fish and crispy pork belly. It was sumptuous and well portioned for a family like mine. It was a fun lunch get together held at Jatujak, I will definitely come back here for dinner or lunch again. The staff are genuinely awesome and the service is great, not to mention they really makes delicious Thai cuisine!
Came to this resto with my husband and daughter. We ordered papaya salad, chicken larb, chicken wings, rice, crispy pork dish, Thai tea, Thai coffee and green mango juice. Everything was absolutely delicious. The papaya salad and larb dressings were so fresh and flavorful. The servings were very generous. We were surprised at the large glasses for the two Thai beverages. My daughter had a nut allergy and they put the peanuts for the papaya salad on a separate container as we requested. The service was excellent. The crispy pork and chicken wings had very good sauces and they were also delicious. The restaurant was clean and although the decor was simple, it was nice. In the end, we ended up with take home leftovers. With our senior discount, our bill was around $35. We were stunned at the incredible value for your money here. Definitely a 4.5 to almost a 5 star for me.
I didn't notice Jatujak much every time I passed by; the small interior it looked kind of cramped to me did not also make me curious to try. But when a friend asked me to have dinner here, I found a favorite which would later make me go back to Jatujak on this branch and to other branches, too the bagoong rice. Each grain of rice is coated with a distinct bagoong flavor, which is utter perfection. It also has a side of green mangoes and scrambled egg strips, which go very well with the rice. It also has pork, which my friend gamely ate. At P180 and good enough for two people, it was a complete meal in itself. We also ordered the crispy catfish with mango salad, though. This also goes very well with the rice. Their tom yum soup is also great, which we ordered another time. This is better as a starter, though, as the refreshing (love the wansoy! and sour flavor (love the kaffir lime too! is great for an appetizer.
One Thai resto i frequent because of the Tom Yum Shrimp soup, sate chicken curry. Will visit again to try the rest
