Chao Yuan Hot Pot - Omaha

The staff are sleeping at work. I woke them up to order their Singaporean Laksa but was told that they are not selling it. I asked what they have available but was told that they are not selling anything. The staff went back to sleep after. Better close the store. Such a shame.

The pork chop with rice was delicious for a very affordable rate. I decided to try this restaurant since it was in the same building where i work. How the restaurant was set up wasn't really pleasing. What was worst is that there were lots of big flies flying around the table while i was eating. I hope they improve this. Since the food is really delicious.

I come here everyday for lunch. Not because it has the best chinese food but because it has the best value for money. I work upstairs and don't wanna go out of the building to get lunch although I do that once in a while.

Me and my colleague decided to have lunch in our new site and been craving for Chinese-Filipino cuisine so we opted to dine here at Chao Yuan to try their specialty. Located in WCC at Shaw blvd a lot of call center agents are dining here since the restaurant is open 24/7. The place was pretty small, we decided to have a seat outside just because we don't want to be smelly since there's no exhaust fan inside. There are wide selection of noodles and a few for rice meal so I decided to order Beef mami (P75) served in a hot pot their own version of beef mami served with veggies, the noodles is firm and the beef is cooked just right although the soup is salty you don't need to put fish sauce on it. The service is a so-so since they only have two crews to serve us you need to request your own condiments yourself. All in all the food is just right for the price and will try their Sate noodle soup next time.

For PHP 99, their laksa isn't bad. I think two people can split it even.
