Ranch House Bbq - Olympia

After years of driving by, we finally had a chance to stop at this restaurant and it was worth it. We tried the BBQ sampler and everything was delicious. I'm not a fan of BBQ sauce, so the meat itself must be good. The pork ribs were moist with a light bark, and the sauce had a hint of blackberry that complemented the smoky taste well. The chicken and pulled pork were also delicious with a good smoky flavor. The bratwurst was moist and flavorful, and the hot link had just the right amount of spice with a nice grill mark. The baked beans were tasty, and we substituted garlic fries which were more than enough for two people. The service was great, even though it wasn't very busy. The atmosphere was fun and the restaurant has won many awards. We will definitely be back!

I had always wanted to stop at this restaurant on the way to the ocean, but never had the chance. After a dirtbike ride in the capital forest, I finally stopped for lunch and tried the pulled pork brisket and cattle brisket combo with cornbread, slaw, and potato salad. Everything was fantastic. It wasn't too crowded on a Saturday afternoon, the service was very friendly, and I was seated and served quickly. I regret not stopping here sooner, as it always seems busy. However, it is definitely worth it! I visit my mother on the coast every couple of months, and now this place will be a must-stop along the way.
