Al Sospiro Trattoria - Olney

This is an ongoing favorite place of ours. Make reservations because the room is small and the appeal is big! This visit we were treated to an exhibit of art on the walls. Some of it was really special and we did buy a piece. Generally we love the fish dishes and the pasta dishes. My spouse said he would leave me for the dessert he tried. I agreed I would leave him for mine (which was a different dessert). On top of great food, the staff is friendly and endearing. This is a special place

Very enjoyable experience. Despite the place being full, the service was efficient (the chef even came out to help), and the food was prepared just as we requested. Great value for the price.

This restaurant is a terrific choice for any occasion. We try to get there once a month and it is such a relaxing treat great food, service and ambience.

What a pleasant surprise to finally dine here. We had been told about it being a good local Italian restaurant and exceeded our expectations. Lovely attentive service, the owners are both present, one is the chef and he was in and out of the kitchen frequently and his wife Tara, could not have been friendlier, more engaging and professional all at the same time. Completely, making sure everyone was happy! And she makes yummy deserts! The dining room is downstairs in a basement with windows and a door accessing al fresco dining and we will look forward to returning in the nice weather but definitely before that! What a pleasant surprise to find this little gem. I did say the noise level was a bit turned up, only because there was a very large group. Which I’ll say, appeared to be constantly attended to. They cater to your needs making a lovely experience. The ambience is like a bohemian, warm welcoming touch of Italy. Molte bueno!!!!

What a lovely place. Everything we ordered was excellent. The staff was terrific! I'll definitely go back!
