Donauschwaben's German-american Cultural Center

Great atmosphere, even better food! Plus the beer is excellent

This is a hidden gem. Located behind the cultural Center, is a German restaurant with a wonderful menu selection. The options were typical German fare, and were expertly prepared. I ordered the pork schnitzel, which was tender and tasty. My family ordered the same and it was all excellent. I am not a drinker, but the list of beer options looked impressive. The ambience was excellent, with a big lake just below the outside patio. This place was just so comfortable and positive. It has an enormous parking lot, which I understand is used by car shows, and Oktoberfest. All in all, a delightful dining option, if you like German food.

Car show sucked. Nothing like taking care of the dads out in their babies just to be turned away

This is a beautiful place inside and out. They have a small soccer/football area downstairs. German themes run throughout the building. Great for renting parties! Food is delicious as well. A few minor tweaks here and there but worth an experience to see a bit of history thru German Cultures.
