T'anta Wasi - Ollantaytambo

This bakery is great for a quick snack whilst in Ollanta where I found everything to be quite pricey! We grabbed pizza slices, sandwiches and tea and everything was fresh and delicious and didn't cost us much at all. We even took some croissants to eat on bus ride back to Cusco, YUM. Everything is made there on the day! It is not on the main tourist path, but it's only two blocks away from the plaza, by the football pitch so not far at all. We spoke to the worker there and the profit goes to a project that helps girls access education...so another reason to go!

Delicious empanadas, and a range of great cakes, bread, etc. Worth a special stop as you stroll round Ollantaytambo!

This little bakery is great! I went there and got some amazing empanadas and at such a great price. You can also buy ciabatta and hamburger buns (among other breads) for cheap too. Loved it here!

Stopped to grab an empanada con pollo and a pizza in the bakery and I was amazed of how good they were. Very fresh and tasty and not too expensive either. Perfect spot for a quick bite and the stuff is very friendly too. Highly recommend it!!

What a little find. This place is slightly off the beaten track in Ollantaytambo but a worthwhile discovery as it is by far the best bakery in town. The pizza slices are awesome and we had some of the best bread we have tasted in the whole of Peru. Also supports an education initiative called Sacred Valley Project with its profits. You must go!!
