Buganvilla Bakery - Ollantaytambo

Friendly staff, friendly atmosphere, and great food! Right near the main square, this was a great spot for some vegan pancakes. Loved their awesome selection of healthy, tasty vegan options.

We loved the bright, airy vibe in this quaint bakery cafe off the main sqare in Ollantaytambo. Delicious baked goods abound- the corn cake is not to be missed! Perfect location for an afternoon sweet treat!

Really enjoyed my visit - really friendly staff, pretty interiors and gorgeous chocolate cake and ginger tea. I didn't even realise that the cake was had been made with healthier ingredients it tasted so good. Highly recommend!

Ollantaytambo is a little town/village filled narrow cobblestone streets where you will find all different nooks as you wander up and down. My 2 adult children and myself walked into town to get a cappuccino, when then led us to wanting something sweet so we wander around a little more and found this gem! It's a very small café with very delicious desserts. There were about 8 items to choose from and the young gentleman was happy to take time and explain each and every one to us so we knew exactly what we were going to bite into! His wife is the baker there and she sure can bake. We tasted desserts in Cusco that do not hold a candle to what we had here! If you have a chance, take some time out of your day and stop by -- I promise, you won't be disappointed.

Sorry I didn't have the same experience as others. We ordered 3 things and had issues wiith all of them (ordered soup and got a passion fruit smoothie!, charged extra for milk Iin an Americano coffee ?) When we went to pay,, she would not accept our 50 soles note even though our bill came to 27 soles. She wanted us to run around to the other shops to get change. The shop is very clean inside and nice selection of cakes which we didn't sample. Had better experience elsewhere.
