My man and I, after years of passing through the restaurant, and hearing good things about it, finally went to lunch. it was Sunday and with us were the only people eating. there were many people at the bar. eating was expensive and inconspicuous. the waitress was kind as the cook, but the food was subpar. I ordered the filet mignon and it was as dry as shoe leather. no oil, no sauce has smoked only paprika and salt. my man got the duck, the fat was not made and the meat was like leather. I'm sorry, but never again.
A favorite in oliva. excellent food service and worth in a very pleasant environment. we will recommend and return thank you for another nice lunch
The best sirloin stake I ever had and the home made cheese cake is to die for. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food.Puts many large name restaurants to shame.
Upon recommendation of one of the local merchants – where we bought a pair of alpargatas and two pairs of house slippers – we decided to try Casa Andrea for lunch. We managed to get one of the few free tables at around p.m....and could see that the restaurant was popular both with Spanish locals and with some of the many English expats living in the area. Our friendly server was quick and efficient, and while enjoying our menu del día we had the choice between watching what was going on in the kitchen – visible from the dining room – or watching Spanish television, which typical for local taverns was on above our heads. Not many of the patrons seemed to be watching, however, – the crowd was lively and obviously in a good mood – perhaps due to the very good daily specials with wine. We were certainly satisfied with our freshly prepared seafood, and the café con leche afterwards was very good too. We can confirm the very good reviews here and would return to Casa Andrea for an evening meal upon a return trip to Oliva.
