Bidra med feedbackLovely food, not at all greasy, good variety, good atmosphere and reasomable prices. Staff were ayyentive and friendly.
Food was very nice,we had popadums with the pickle tray to start, followed by Balti garlic chicken chillie, prawn curry with sides of fries, nan and pilau rice. As the restaraunt is never busy the owner has decided to do traditional Portuguese food as well,so the signage outside is rather confusing. Having said all that, if you fancy an Indian meal it's not a bad place to visit.
I loved my Chicken Bhuna with rice and nan here for lunch!!! My other half had the menu del dia which was €7.50 and therefore great value. The only thing we thought was that the Indian is way more expensive for lunch than the Portuguese menu.
We had lunch here from the lunch special menu, which was €7.50. The chicken tikka masala was absolutely gorgeous. So creamy, beautifully spiced and enormously tasty. Chicken tikka came on a sizzling plate with lovely grilled veg. The chicken was cooked to perfection and was also really lovely. The rice was delicious, as was the naan bread. Would definitely recommend this restaurant as it was great. Nice service too.
We ordered a take away for 8 to eat whilst we watched the footy. Have to say everyone was really happy with their food. Huge portions of very tasty authentic Indian food. It took a while to prepare but this wasn't a problem. We were given a couple of bottles of wine on the house which was a nice touch. All in all if you are in the area and fancy a ruby this is the place.
