Asteria - Oldenburg

General This is our third visit 14.06.2012, 25.05.2013 at Asteria. At the first time we were completely enthusiastic. I wrote my first restaurant criticism related to Asteria. A supplement followed on 25.05.2013. This was much more critical. The third visit encouraged us in our assessment: The Asteria wants to be a more elevated Mediterranean restaurant, but can only partially redeem this claim. Operation very friendly, tried, but ultimately helpless to what comes from the kitchen The food We wanted to feed grilled from the sea. There are hardly restaurants in Oldenburg with such an offer. The range of wines on the map was North German-saving: Retsina and Co. On request, if there were anything better, we were offered a Greek Sauvignon Blanc Black Sheep. It had a light peach note in scent and taste. At least in small quantities it tastes delicious. Later we saw the price 0.2l at €5,80 on the invoice. This gives a bottle price of € 21,75. On the Internet it is offered for about € 9.00: a supplement of 141 . This also shows the claim of the local. We ordered two appetizers: grilled Octopus € 10,90 and Kalamaresspieß Photo . The grilled Octopus produced little visually, for which he tasted tenderly and a little after veal. We then ordered a second portion. The spear looked visually great from s. Photo, but smelled like fish. After trying a ring, we let the court go back. Now I was allowed to choose a replacement. I've seen grilled bifteki riskless. But far missed. They were not freshly grilled and chessed, but strangely lapped with sauce freshly prepared? So light and shadow, close together. The generously offered Ouzos do not deceive that. After a waiting period of about 1.5 hours, I kindly asked when our food would come. the chefin didn't even let me talk, interrupted me knit and rude, asking me and my family to pay immediately and leave her locally immediately.

Delicious Greek food. plate for 2 people was completely sufficient and very tasty in taste. meat was nice tender and the service there is very attentive and pretty dressed in the same style. beautiful for a delicious evening while smelling:)
