Old Hickory Bistro

Ordered two chicken sandwiches and nuggets for the kids. We were given a side of coleslaw, potato salad, and home grown tomatoes with salt and pepper. The food was unbelievably good and tasted homemade with love and care. My son said the seasoning of the chicken was a masterpiece. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, great service, friendly people. They grow their own peppers that they use in their spices and sauce. Kids had the plain nuggets. My son said the seasoning was a masterpiece. The coleslaw and potato salad were made from scratch in house and were amazing as well. So glad we found this place before we fly home this afternoon. Will definitely come back next time we’re in town.

This place has the best hot chicken in my opinion, heat AND flavor. It is an unassuming location that is better suited for to go. This location doesn’t have a lot of tables. We did dine in an it felt like we were guests of someone’s home. I was impressed with their fried okra and coleslaw as well. I shared the mild shredded chicken sandwich with my baby and it was delicious. I tried my husbands hot chicken and I was impressed. If you want delicious hot chicken and aren’t needing a *vibe* this is the place!

Check them out if you're craving hot chicken and southern hospitality but not crowds! I got a loaded hot chicken sandwich and it was incredible; super crispy outside, juicy inside, decent heat. The owners are super nice.

Food is hot, fresh, delicious. Service is great. So glad this spot is close to home.
