Cinco De Mayo - Old Hickory

Another birthday party at Cinco! It seems for many to be a birthday goal that is safe. I always have a good time and the food is always good. I had the road fish taco and the shrimp taco, can not go wrong with corn tortillas with onions and cilantro. The weather was nice and the margaritas did the trick. Two couples sat where we could watch the bar TV to watch March Madness. Service was attentive, great menu selection. Food came in a reasonable time. Well prepared and pleasantly presented. I asked some very hot salsa as a side. They brought an orangish salsa that the waiter said gotanero paprika in it. The hottest salsa I've ever got in public. I love it!

Great ambience, food and drinks. Can't go wrong with the Fajitas! Beautiful outdoor seating. Laz in the bar is very attentive and serves the best drinks.

For me a Mexican restaurant needs good chips/salsa and boy supply them! Salsa is spicy, but not excessively spicy, which I prefer.

Great place! It was busy- Cinco de mayo, and they worked it well. The food was first rate. The there service was on point. This will be my go to for mexican.
