Arcaro And Genell, Old Forge, Pa

Absolutely not good. Pizza was rather tasteless. Will not go there again.

My Father I absolutely love Arcaro Genell's! It is always on time and consistent. Right when you walk in the door, the smiles from the workers and the ambience is second to none. The service is tremendous and you won't leave hungry. The food is homemade and delicious! Kudos to the staff and owners, they work their tails off! Parking: Plenty of parking for takeout and a lot of parking in the back for ceremonial events.

We've always wondered about NEPA pizza, so the other day while driving home from New England we stopped here because Arcaro and Genell were the top reviewed pizzeria for the area. The crust was thick flavorful similar to Buffalo style crust, the sauce was sparse and just meh for flavor, the cheese was fantastic, but the pepperonis were wafer thin and almost tasteless. What really stuck in our craw was that there was no indoor dining. Their Google Maps restaurant site states that Arcaro and Genell's offers indoor dining, but the only indoor dining area available is for banquets. We had to eat outside on a hot, sunny and breezy 92 degree day. That was an absolutely awful dining experience.

Great food, especially accommodating to my gluten-free needs. Will return next summer when I fly back up from FL.

The Risotto here is the best around. The restaurant has great ambiance and great food/service.
