It wasn't easy to plan a nice party in the pandemic, but when we were on the farm for the first time in early June to eat and meet the hosts Edith and Markus, we knew we wanted to celebrate our big day there. On Friday we had a wonderful festival – the fantastic location, the sensational food and the perfect service. Dear Edith and Markus, you have accompanied us so great and sensitive during preparation and on Friday you have a wonderful day. If we could, let's give you a thousand stars! The food is great in the dining area. We were there about 4 weeks ago and could sit on the beautiful terrace with the magnificent view. The food was very good and is not too expensive (which one might suspect when you hear the name Marquard). The value for money is very good. The parts were plentiful. The service was a little older. When we arrived, and still in the entrance we were asked if we wanted to order an apperitive and if we were just sitting for 2 seconds, we were already asked if we wanted to order water. Otherwise, the top was very attentive and we like to come back.
Servus, so we were there for the second time last week 16.07.2010 and I have to say it has changed a lot. Our first visit was shortly after the opening in March, and you noticed that there are some problems. The food was also very good at the time, but the service and the ambience in the restaurant were still unsatisfactory. This time everything was great, the food was brilliant again, the service was fast, very friendly and knew exactly what he did. It was an absolutely successful evening that was repeated very soon. The terrace has a beautiful view of the green area, you sit under beautiful large parasols and can spend the evening with good food wine. We give 4 stars, for which it was not so great at the beginning, and if the next time is as perfect as it is this time, there are 5 stars PLUS Tip, in beautiful weather, when we were, both terraces were full.
Well, actually, the beautiful location is ideal at the golf course, also the terrace and the ambience are wonderful. If you just drink something or something, and enjoy the ambience and the terrace, then I can really imagine. We were disappointed by our dinner there, the menu looks really good first, and there is also really a small ensemble of good together eating from Currywurst to Steak. I had ordered the daily dish, veal with vegetables and noodles. The food came, and clearly, it was quite clear by the high standard, but only a small piece of meat, and 2 carrots and a bar anger, that was really too little. Then we complained, and the food was returned to the kitchen and prepared again. The second part was also ok, but not excessive. Although the restaurant was almost empty, we had to wait very long for the drinks and the bill, which, in my opinion, was very young and inexperienced waiter, who was also really clumsy at the top. Well, maybe the restaurant is still growing, but for the fact that a star chef Stefan Marquard has his name as an operator, there is still much to happen here.
Been there a few times now, and it was always great. Especially the terasse is very beautiful. Friendly service and a super price-performance ratio.....and a nice mix from simple to unusual, from sausage salad to 7 course menu at the highest level. In any case recommend, in our opinion, the best in the whole environment. So try out
