Mama's Pizza & Pasta - Okotoks

The pizza was delicious and satisfying, with great value for the portion size. It was so flavorful, and I will definitely be returning.

The crust had a strange taste reminiscent of cleaning solution. While I commend the restaurant for having a clean preparation area, it was off-putting for the pizza to have a bleach-like flavor. Another letdown was the use of processed paprika; for the price, I expected higher quality ingredients.

We love the food at this restaurant - it's been a family favorite for years. Whenever we visit our mom in Okotoks, we make sure to stop by and we are always satisfied with the delicious dishes.

We moved to Okotoks a year ago and after we were disappointed with some of the most important drag pizza compounds, we finally checked out Mama's pizza. This is a rustic small place in a residential area of Okotoks. We ordered take-out and the pizza was hot and ready at the time we said it was. The staff was pleasant to handle both on the phone and personally. We were pleasantly surprised how good their pizza was, from the perfect crust, the ingredients and the taste (we had the Fajita Chicken). The Xlarge Pizza was also larger than most Xlarge Pizza we bought elsewhere. Mom also took care that it would not build moisture in the box so that we had a perfect, non-soggy, hot pizza when we came home with her. We enjoy supporting local businesses, and Mama's is a nice little restaurant that serves good food. The pizza is tasty, with generous amounts of toppings. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but it's pretty good. The pricing is not cheap. The service is...great, friendly staff which is nice. We have not tried any other dishes on the menu, just pizza.
