D'Arcy Ranch Golf Club - Okotoks

We are new to this area, coming from the west coast. Over the past few months, we have tried Jerry's Thanksgiving buffet and found it to be the best buffet we have ever experienced. We have also attended their Prime Rib nights and German night, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Jerry's has become our favorite restaurant due to their excellent service, incredible food, and reasonable prices. The food always has a delicious flavor that sets it apart from other restaurants. We look forward to trying their brunch next.

I heard Jerry had a new boss, and as a big brunch fan, my fiancé and I decided to come by today and see how it was. Break was fabulous. I had the French toast (Bumbleberry Pain Perdu), and my fiancé had the Eggs Benedict... (on a cheddar and black pepperschon). We eat half of us and couldn't decide who was better. I add that the food presentation was excellent. Do not leave the fact that the restaurant is located in a golf course, lead you to think that the food is not top Notch. The cook definitely knows his trade. Neither of us are golfers, and while we enjoyed seeing golfers among us, the view of the mountains really made the day. You have a big deck that we did not try (it was 1 C outside), but it will try in summer.

We had fish and chips. And Calamari. The service was good. Food needs a lot of improvement. Fish with oil and dough was dripping dark brown. The worst I've eaten in Okotoks. Calamari was hard to eat, hard and chew.

It had been years since we last dined at Jerry's D'Arcy Ranch, so we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the golf course. Our waitress could have been more attentive, as she only checked on us once after taking our order. She seemed to pay more attention to the table behind us. There were only three dessert options available and none of them interested us, so we passed. Saturday night is Prime Rib night, but if you don't pre-order, you may be out of luck. However, the beef dip made with Prime Rib...

My two companions and I went for lunch and we were very impressed with the food and service. The dishes were fresh and delicious, and our server was both friendly and attentive.
