The Surf Club Cafe - OHalloran Hill

This is a relaxed unpretentious surf club. I enjoyed the 'no frills ' decor with opportunity to sit outside on the deck or in the pegola area at the side both of which overlook the sea. You can also see the ocean from inside the club so it really is a great option for any weather.The service is excellent. The staff are friendly and accommodating and even though they have a buzzer system to collect your coffee (food is delivered to the table) it was great to see that the staff did not expect some elderly patrons who were there to use this system.The food was great quality we enjoyed the fish and the burgers and was served quickly.Breakfast is also enjoyable although I would have preferred another option than white sliced bread. Perhaps even a choice of grain bread would have made the perfectly cooked poached eggs even better.Summary: Excellent location and open 7 days a week. Breakfast and dinner options are great! Top service. Worth a try? Absolutely! One of my new 'go to ' places for a relaxed, no fuss, low key eating experience

Great casual dining right near the beach. Staff were pleasant and service was quick. Food was beautiful and fresh and the menu included different options instead of the same old boring menu.

Very pleasant service here and food is delivered quickly as not busy. Portion size is generous and tasty. I had Chicken Schnitzel done as a Parmigiana as given a choice of sauces with this dish. Great views to be had from the balcony seating as well and lovely on a nice day.

Found this place after moving into area recently.  Have had both breakfast and lunch there and both were good.  Lunchtime burger special is particularly good value.  Service was polite and efficient as well.

Chicken schnitzel and salt n pepper squid was tender and cooked perfectly. Salad was more than just leaves with delicious dressing. Tender and tasteful, great setting on the balcony overlooking the beach. For a club situation, couldn't recommend more. Relaxed friendly beach atmosphere. We will be back.
