Storm Shelter Cafe - Ohakune

I'd definitely recommend staying here especially if you want to take a break from a long drive. Beautiful clean lodge with great beds to rest your weary heads at night. The only little thing was the heating last night was off leaving a cold lounge and bedroom. I called reception and they were onto it straight away by bringing us a heater for our room. Thank you so much. Lovely staff, we finished off by having a yummy breakfast before heading up to Whakapapa ski fields. Hi five. Thanks

I came for brunch 2 days in a row with my friends. There were about 8-9 of us. The food was delicious. The yummiest waffles I've had. The service was super friendly and they were really onto it. A few of us also commented how quickly they got us our drinks and food. Thank you for having us and we'll be back next time we are down.

Best Pulled pork ever! Personnel super kind and fast! Very close to the park. They’ve also rooms which seems very nice!

Gorgeous little Cafe and private, cute nook and crannies to hide yourself away if you waned to. Popular with the locals. Attached to a fabulous lodge too! Staff are friendly and efficient.
