Maine Street - Ogunquit

We're new to New England and we love dancing. We discovered Maine Street and were looking for a dance place online. We had so much fun when we both left. We're going back. I didn't think I liked DJ dancing, but that's all. It's nonstop dance party with friendly strangers and we don't drink alcohol. We were paid $20 and some other bought cranberry juice for us for our entertaining presence. We were photographed and filmed every time. We also danced in Portland near Bubba and in the Lobster Cafe on the peer. But I don't jump back.

For the most part, I have always enjoyed this facility. The music is always good and I enjoy the 2 dance floors. It's a great club! But this last New Year Eve went a group of us to the New Year's Bash. A Str8 couple, very dear friends of us visited us as they have in the past. At 11:30, our friend was asked to go. She looked fabulous, had a great time when she danced and she wasn't drunk! She went to the bathroom, came out and a female security worker asked her to go without obvious reason or explanation and to make things worse, they even refused to collect her coat from the coat control! How can you do that to someone who did absolutely nothing? Luckily her husband was able to get the coat for her, so they went back to the hotel room and that was every minute before the stroke of midnight! Your night was ruined! Mainestreet, if you'll throw people out, at least give them a reason why and for God's sake, let them get their coat!

Great mood in the news years, but the music sucked. Dj played music from 98-00. No regge. A dj was rude af..don't think I'll go back

Let me tell you- this is the place to be. We had so much fun singing karaoke with friends. Chartreuse, our MC was so funny and a great singer. Happy new year! I would recommend the pink ****. The drinks aren't very strong, though.

What a fun bar ! We got to enjoy the Dueling Divas show and for $20, I can't remember the last time I was so entertained! The bartender was great , made me a solid Jack Daniels and Ginger ale , and my friends ordered a hard cider that came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The room where we saw the show was cozy yet comfortable. We got a great view of the stage and could hear the performers quite well . I felt comfortable , had many laughs and it was the perfect spot to kick off our vacation!
