Bidra med feedbackMormon Muffins! Shouldn't have to say more than that! We had a party of 8 at lunch on Mother's Day and were sat in a decent amount of time. Staff was friendly and quick. Whenever we're in the neighborhood we dont miss a chance to stop in. There's plenty of things to look at while you wait. Overall great place to eat!
Super sweet place! I had the Chile verde cheese) Enchiladas for about $14. Very cheerful, Chile verde was tasteful, but coulda was more fleshy, I also have her Mormon Muffins delicious, but not really the price worth $3 something for one). I heard they were bigger earlier. The honey butter was also delicious. We sat in the Lanai area, it had a strange smell not quite Musty, but maybe a little damp. Apart from that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 11 when they opened and sat immediately, but the place was pretty busy, according to plan.
It has been a few years since we'd been to The Greenery but it was good! The atmosphere is really laid back and it draws a fun brunch crowd. I ordered the pretzel bun jalapeno burger that was really good. My wife got the bacon cheddar baked potato that she also really liked. The reason I couldn't do 5 stars is because we felt rushed, the waitress came to our table 4 times, one for the order, one to give us the food, one to offer boxes, and one to give the check. And that was all within like 30 minutes. It sucks because the burger was spicy and I didn't get a refill until I asked on our way out.
Make sure to try the Mormon Muffins! The butter was almost like icing, but I have no complaints about that. The Turkish Pesto sandwich was delicious, and the daily special shrimp Alfredo was great as well. The atmosphere is truly unique, and I love that it’s located right at the entrance of the canyon. I’d definitely come back for more muffins!
Initially, I was skeptical about the "Mormon Muffins," but after seeing an online voucher, we decided to give them a try. They were incredible—both the texture and flavor were dreamy, and they were huge! I almost bought a batch to take home with me. While I wasn’t too impressed with the selection at the salad bar, so we didn’t order anything from there, everything else we tried was delicious and generously portioned. My daughters enjoyed their kids' meals and were completely satisfied. My husband loved his Cobb Salad, and my Broccoli Stuffed Spud was massive and incredibly tasty. It's clear they use Idaho potatoes for their dishes. Next time we’re passing through Ogden, we definitely plan to stop by again!
