El Tio Pepe Mexican - O'Fallon

All three times I’ve visited, I’ve been let down. The food has almost no flavor. No seasonings at all, beans seem microwaved and the cheese tastes processed. The drinks are pretty good but the food is not great, despite me trying different things every time I’ve been. Definitely not worth the prices that they charge.

Place was very busy, but we walked right in. Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The place was clean and I was able to see how many tables the waitresses and waiters around us had and they were very busy bouncing back and forth making sure everyone was satisfied. The food was excellent and the margaritas were even better.

Finally a good Mexican restaurant in the St Louis area.

Don’t come on busy nights. Big gap in time when food arrived. Fajita Quesadilla with chicken. Rice was lukewarm but juice around quesadilla soft
