El Maguey - O'Fallon

El Maguey is always an awesome experience! The food is amazing and the staff is always friendly and polite. Good prices too. This is definitely a favorite restaurant of ours.

I think it was 3.5 seconds after I ordered a margarita it was at the table, 9.4 seconds later my food was there. 18.2 seconds later I finished my meal and paid my bill and was heading back home. I love how fast the service is here and the food is gooood!

Friendly staff, amazing service and above all amazing food!

I must’ve gotten the wrong restaurant bc I ordered Arroz Con Pollo, an hour before close, and they charged me more than any other place I’ve been for some OVERLY drenched chicken hard flavorless rice, No veggies, No Mexican Salad, Hoursssss old chips and a tomato paste aka salsa. Dude clearly didn’t wanna argue bc he shut my ?’s down quick.I’ll stick with the el maguey in lake STL or Taco Bell even..Wish I took photos before I threw $20 in the trash.

The service here was great and our server was very on top of things. The salsa, however tasted more like tomatoes than anything and the food was not good. We ordered the lunch enchilada and lunch Quesadilla. They both tasted cheap and unseasoned, including the rice and the chicken was dry. We will not be returning.
