Hotel Ruthmann - Oestrich-Winkel

A very well-run small hotel in a vineyard between road and railway on the Rhine bank. Comfortable rooms. Particularly recommended rooms with views of the Rhine. The excellent breakfast is enough for the day! Good parking and access to the main bypass, which follows the river and the path to all wine houses in the Rheingau region. Perfectly located as a basis for visits to the wineries and historic centers of the region.

We stayed overnight at a late arrival and our bikes still in their boxes due to flight delays. We found the owner very helpful. He even took away our boxes for us. Breakfast was excellent and a great view of the river.

We weren't in this hotel, but we're coming to this hotel because we don't know how to get a taxi to get us to Schloss Vollrads. The hotelwoman was so kind to accommodate us by helping to arrange a big taxi to the ferry of my family (6 pax overall, such an ordinary taxi would not be practical. We are very grateful with the help. Therefore, I would like to say that this hotel has not only beautiful gardens and beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, but also the most beautiful people with a friendly heart here.

The hotel is well located with views of the Rhine (many restaurants available). a tip is the azad restaurant. only unfortunately, the train station is directly against over, which is why you often hear a train. the room is large, the bed is ok, but could be a bit more comfortable. the bathroom is very new and clean. the shower with the big showerhead is very good, only unfortunately not high enough for larger people. a small TV is also available in the room. the family that the hotel operates was always very friendly.The breakfast buffet was large and tasty. free W-lan was available everywhere with good reception.
