Bondehuset - Odder

HERE! Nice family friendly place with good service and food in the world class. Highly recommended

Had invited the family at Bondehuset. Although there were lots of people we got a friendly and quick service. Because we were 11 pers we had determined us what we wanted to eat before we came and told the chef. Which made that we got really nice food. star shoots wienerschnitzel and steak all along well-defined and warm. And enough of it. And the children's portions were also great and good. So everything in all a good experience and we come again.

No grill, grilled items from the oven? Rude staff no real notice of complaint. Actually got band for mentioning. Got the price down eventually, but you guessed it.

Hungry and eager to find somewhere for an early evening meal, we happened to pass Bondehuset. It didn't look particularly special, but it was tastefully decorated, busy, the waitress/owner was very friendly (but spoke no English no criticism there, as I speak no Danish! , we managed to work out the Danish only menu, and the prices looked reasonable. We had the plaice (three fillets! stuffed with prawns, and the wienerschnitzel. Both were absolutely superb and the portions were extremely generous. We would wholeheartedly recommend!

First we were told that the chef did not care to make more food even if the restaurant was less than half full. Eventually we got a table but this is (even if the house is very danish heritage) just ****. Standard food served by extremely unfriendly staff. Just one advice: stay away!
